Mathew Gollant

FCPA RITF

Mathew has over 30 years of experience in the insolvency and reconstruction sectors, including 12 years with big 4 firms in Melbourne, Perth and overseas. As a Liquidator and Bankruptcy Trustee, Mathew ensures that directors, their accountants, and lawyers negotiate with creditors who are fully aware of their restructuring options and the associated risks.

​Career Highlights and Key Expertise 

Mathew has assisted directors and other stakeholders in successful advisory appointments, from the workout of a listed investment bank with over $1.0 billion in assets, to managing favourable supplier relationships for a major automotive OEM.

 

In the personal insolvency area Mathew has assisted numerous individuals in negotiating Personal Insolvency Agreements (Part X) with their creditors. Mathew has also acted as a Small Business Restructuring Practitioner where a Company Director offers a compromise proposal to the Company's creditors.

Meet the team

Senior Manager 

Formerly part of Courtney Jones, Christine has worked closely with Mathew as Senior Manager since the commencement of CJG Advisory.  With over 15 years of experience as an insolvency professional, Christine brings her extensive experience and knowledge to all appointments. These include formal corporate insolvency appointments of small to medium enterprises, restructuring and corporate recovery assignments, personal insolvency administrations and business advisory matters.
